MBATM
Model Based ArchitectureTM
Model-Based ArchitectureTM(MBA)
is a patented, overarching framework and methodology for systems modeling and design. MBATM applies to workflow, modeling processes, component-based system design, iterative modeling and testing during the entire systems' lifecycle.
MBATM optimizes systems design with an overarching, disciplined, scientific framework and methodology.

Model-Based ArchitectureTM optimizes the dynamic business system in terms of throughput, response time and cost from development through deployment.
Modeling Methodology
GateTM Mathematical Engine
Engaging Mathematics
The GATETM mathematical engine is the heart of our modeling technology.
The layered algorithms used in GATETM are capable of representing an
incredibly large number of variables each of which have a defined
effect and relationship with some or all of the other variables. This
enables unsurpassed predictive capability regardless of the complexity
of the underlying system.
Along with the model management tools in X-ActTM and Cascade services, the GATETM engine is capable of showing the feasible life of a system under different business growth scenarios or system configuration scenarios. Predict mean time before failure or "hitting the wall."
The GATETM Mathematical Engine
Important Measurement and Configuration Attributes:
At this point the value of the tool begins to manifest itself. Scenarios can be run using various business and applications drivers, e.g. new accounts double or transaction peak is 3 times previous high etc.
The model accurately predicts system behavior based on business states that do not exist.
The ability to "push" the virtual system to its limits reveals behavior that cannot be uncovered any other way. Immediately reports are available that, with very little analysis, identify constrains and bottlenecks (both logical and technical.) Subjective review will uncover unusual or non-linear response to system dynamics over a given series of states.
Potential solutions can be tested and the merits of each weighed based on the reference model before corrective action is taken. This leads to an unprecedented level of success in improving systems in terms of "getting it right the first time."

Modeling Methodology
- Specific top-down, layered approach
- Considers total system from the business processes perspective.
- Specifically integrates mathematical modeling into the entire systems lifecycle.
- Identifies base case early in the development cycle.
- Detects and contains errors early in the development cycle.
- Serves as a "toll gate" for projects to proceed.
- Benchmarks performance of development system under projected loads (stress).
- Serves as a valuable governance framework.
- Ensures project success
- Avoids cost inflation
- Avoids late-phase rework/redesign
